Like most of you, we are planning on enjoying a nice break in the work cycle for Memorial Day this week! We love the chance to start summer with its outdoor barbecues, longer days and family fun! While you are enjoying a hot dog or burger by your pool this year, we urge you to pause and reflect on the real meaning of this holiday. It’s about those Americans who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom to enjoy the day!
Do something different this year; invite a veteran to your barbecue. Call one up and thank him/her for their service to this great country of ours. Say a prayer for those families mourning the loss of a service member that didn’t make it back home! Remember and reflect on the true meaning of the holiday!
Freedom is never FREE!
